Heyzeus – as in ‘Jesus’ – is an electrifying, acoustic pop/rock duo, hailing from the Scottish borders. Front man, Jamie Andrew, with his unmistakably soulful yet raw, and raspy voice, often gets described visually as the love child of Kurt Cobain and Jesus! Pair that with bombshell percussionist and drummer Jessica Louise, and you have a pretty powerful force to be reckoned with! Jamie featured on The Voice UK, wowing all four coaches and landing a space on Sir Tom Jones’ team!
Heyzeus perform an array of popular cover songs from the sixties to modern day. All performed in their distinct, and naturally cool, acoustic rock style, you’d be forgiven for thinking some of these covers with their own. Expect to hear some fantastic renditions of memorable classics from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, Oasis, Nirvana, and many many more!
They’ve already made their mark on many iconic stages around the world with their covers and original music, including gigs at the world-famous Ibiza rocks, hotel and a residency at Marilyn Monroe’s previous home, the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. They have shared festival and gig stages with the likes of Tom Grennan, The Lemonheads and Bastille
Camp Tremplin opens at 2pm today, we’ll see you on the dancefloor.
